When I started running every day, I was amazed at how hard my new exercise routine was on my feet. I started developing blisters, corns, and even ingrown toenails. In an attempt to save money, I started treating my new problems at home with a pair of nail scissors and a file. Unfortunately, after slipping a few times, I developed an infection that caused some serious problems. After visiting with a trained podiatrist who resolved the issue, I learned how important it was to work with a doctor.
